Oh great, 'animal rights' anti-vivisection campaign group leaps on random bandwagon that has nothing to do with the poppy appeal's intentions and work, in cheap shot at outrage publicity. I just read their website's rather dull list of campaign 'triumphs'. I'm about as impressed as I am by White Poppies. ie.: Not very. Campaign on what you like, but don't jump on a well-established and respected (one might even say revered) symbol to raise a bit of controversy.
