    Hello guys,

Thought i should post up these.

These are the personal shoulderboards from Konstantin Hierl, who served as Reichsarbeitsführer, Reichsleiter and Reichsminister. Hierl was in charge of the Reichsarbeitsdienst during it's existence.

Hierl was a close friend of Adolf Hitler to, and it was he who ordered Hitler to attend on a DAP meeting in 1919, at this time Hitler was young and probably a bit pissed after WW1. Hierl was a Major in the Reichsheer at that point.

Hierl was found guilty in "Major Offenses" after the war, and spent 5 years in a labour camp. He died in 1955 in Heidelberg.

Hierl was also awarded the German Order, which was the highest political decoration under the third Reich, this happened On February 24, 1945. He and Reichsjugendführer Arthur Axmann were the only individuals who survived the war, that had that order. Gauleiter Karl Hanke got it to, but he was shot while trying to escape from a pow camp.

These shoulderboards came after the update of insignia, 20th April 1943.
