I served in Egypt with the 1001 Docks Operating Company from 1940 - 1946 and would like to make contact or gain information on any of my chums - Jack Bamford, Norman Palmer, Fred Mulpas and Jim Gunn. Will post some photos later. Thanks

    Hello Stan,

My friend Harry Littler served with you in the 1001 Docks Operating Company and remembers all of the men you mentioned.
He was amazed to read your blog and mention of you all brought back many memories for him. Harry would very much like to get in touch if possible. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like his contact details.

    Regards,

    Mark

I am harry littler's granddaughter and would love to find some of his friends. He is now 96 and talks so fondly of his army friends. I have shown him this page and knows all of the above mentioned. So if anyone can get in touch it would make my grandad so happy.

    Thank you

    Jenny
