Can anyone provide any information/battle records of the Soviet Navy during WWII? Google seems to be giving me the heave-ho so I'll ask the experts here on the forum.

Anything would please me, for I know absolutely nothing about the Russian Navy during its entire incident, save the Kursk disaster and the humiliating loss to the Japanese in 1905.

If you could be more specific, I might be able to give you some useful info.

You can try tracking down a book called A History of Russian and Soviet Sea Power by Mitchell. It provides a concise survey and is relatively readable.

I shall look for this, I have a book on the History of the Russian Airforce, so one on the Navy would be awesome, thanks.

SovietSniper, I would be honoured to hear the story. :D

If you read Russian Modelist-Konstruktor articles (about certain ships) are also good reference as they give some reference to their combat use:
