The grave of the Khan. That would be an find! If the writings are correct on this, it must be in a river and if thats correct it can disapear in that time without any trace.

This has been something that has puzzle archaeologists and historians for ages. There has been a similar problem with the grave sites of other leaders of basically nomadic groups.

The grave site of Alaric, king of the Goths also presents a similar problems. When he died, shortly after the sacking of Rome, his followers diverted the Busento river, buried him with a good deal of wealth, and then let the river go back to its original course, so the river would cover his tomb. The work doing this was performed by prisoners of war, who were then killed so that the method of burying the king as well as the location of the tomb, would remain secret.

Given the fact that both the Goths and the Mongols basically came out of the same region of the world, I would not doubt that Genghis Khan was buried in a similar fashion, but no one remained to tell the tale ......

Yes Ray, thats some of the problems and the fact that the rivers changed their bed(?) in 1000 years and flowing a different way like before didnĀ“t make it easier! Propably they will never find anything of both.
