Was in D.C. with 150 8th graders yesterday. After getting them their lunch and seeing to all of their needs I had an hour to spend in the American history building. Nice display upstairs dealing with America at war. Took you from the Revolution through now. In WWII what caught my eye and had me mesmerized was a German Field Marshall's baton. Never saw one before. I am assuming it was Field Marshall von Blomberg's since it had his name on it. Later
