Developer Best Way is marching back to the World War II RTS front with Men of War, a sequel of sorts to its Soldiers: Heroes of World War II and Faces of War games.

Leaving no theatre of war stone unturned, Men of War's spans Europe, Africa and the Pacific and features three separate campaigns played from the viewpoint of Soviet, Allied and German.

However, the Soviet action's flagged up as the main campaign and, similar to previous Best Way RTS's, the storyline will focus on individual soldiers caught up in the war.

Official word on the game from 1C is accompanied by bullet-points informing us of all the great features, such as realistic models based on actual historical documents and Japan starring in multiplayer.

News on YET ANOTHER World War II RTS is bordering on the soporific, but Soldiers: Heroes of World War II at least was actually a pretty good game. So Men of War could be okay.

    It's due out this year.

Interesting. Original game is actually very good so it is nice to see how it turns out.
