    not sure fella could be 1944 in France think they took prisoners then threw potato mashers into the barn which the prisoners were in

    Might even been in the retreat to Dunkirk in 40 matey

    I believe you're thinking of the Wormhoudt Massacre of the 28th of May 1940 Barrow.
    Wormhoudt Massacre Site
    C.80 men of the Warwickshires, Cheshires & RA murdered.
    Another foul blot on the copybook of the LSSAH.

    Yeah cheers ! remember seeing docu's on them both now got mixed up thought the Canadian's were involved in the barn episode
