I remember when I got my driver's licence, what a thrill to be able to drive "legally". I had been driving about three or four years out on the farm before I took and passed my tests at age 14 (in 1963)!

As a "funny aside", after I had my driver's license I took Driver's Ed. in school so my Dad could get a break on his insurance. I was the only kid in the class who already had a license in his wallet when he took the course. Still fun, I loved the "dual control" car, how bizarro.

I also remember when I got mine. I was really excited. Now I just let my wife drive me everywhere!

P.S As I pulled out of the parking lot of the DMV, I BY MISTAKE FIRST ONE EVER Whent into the wrong lane and then ran over the crub, that looked great leaving the DMV with my new lisence

 

You should have practiced with the bumper cars all summer first.
