"The Last Bomb"

    This might have been posted before, but maybe its time to repost? This film (36 min) follows a typical bombing mission from Guam/Tinian to Japan and back with some great color film of air to air combat, etc. Enjoy.

    I get an error when I try to open it. Adding .html on the end had no effect either.

    I also got an error message, couldn't just open it up. Going to look in the Archives to see if I can find a link from a different angle or something.

    Very good footage, enjoyed it no end. Really brings to life the amount of work and dedication it took to get those Bee-Sans in the air in coordinated bomber streams with fighter cover. Amazing logistical triumphs.
