    Hello everyone I am pretty excited to finally join the group!!! I am 23 im originally form Texas but i am in the Air Force and they decided to move me to Germany so here I am. i have loved all things WWII since I was about 9 years old and my dad used to take me to all of the battlefeilds in germany,france and belgium. My wife and I like to go metal detecting and see new sites!!! I hope to learn alot from everyone on here!!!!

    Welcome, Tex, from another newbie! How awesome that you got to visit the actual battlefields in Europe. Have you found any interesting artifacts while metal detecting? You're so lucky to be able to spend time in Germany...making memories for a lifetime!

    You will definitely learn quite a bit (plus hopefully have some goodies to add given you are actually in Germany and will doubtlessly be exposed to more great history) - welcome!
