"The Pacific" Mini-Series. Sister series to Band of Brothers.

Anyone heard about this? New mini-series, which is a sister series to Band of Brothers, but focuses on the Battle of Australia. What do you guys think?

I think HBO is a #1 .... ummmmm... stinker..... for making it so the-rest-of-us can't watch their trailer on this upcoming series. (Everywhere I found it doing a google search said it violated HBO's terms of use or some such nonsense. You'd think they'd be happy to have people interested, but nooooooo.)

Everything I've read from those lucky enough to see that "private" trailer video is that it looks like it's going to be really really great series. But the anticipation, man, is going to be a killah .... not scheduled to air until March 2010??

Too bad Michael Kamen isn't around to do the music score for this as he did for BoB .... that sound track gives me a lump in my throat every time I listen to it. Kamen was a genius.
