    A U.S. Navy photograph from the NARA, College Park,
    resized for this forum.

    The caption reads:

    "American dead, with Ident. Markers lying on bodies, are
    buried in this temporary cemetery near the beach in France.
    German prisoners in background dig graves."

    Date: 9 June 1944.
