Hello can any one tell me if these two patches are ww2 era? the I have read conflicting things on the marines one, I read that the marines did not start using the crossed rifles until 1960 BUT I also think I saw ww1 examples with them? thank you, Jason

The Green one is an Army Tech Sergeant and it dates from WW2. The Marine one is not WW2 and at oldest is 1959.

During WW1 some Marine Chevrons had the Crossed rifles; but they were a different style and denoted the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.
