I haven't lived in South Dakota for very long now, I grew up in San Diego and Olympia. It's very different, small country and the largest city is only 300,000 people. Wow! When I moved here, I heard about the USS South Dakota memorial, but did not have time untill now to actually go and see it! It's saturday, so the giftshop was not open.
