USS Wasp (CV-18)

    While at the NARA on 2-3 April, I found and scanned
    six U.S. Army Signal Corps photos of the USS Wasp
    enroute to the Philippines in December 1944:

    Navsource posted the photos but resized them.
    If anyone wants the high-res images, just let me know.

    Thank you for scanning the pictures, you might consider uploading them to Wikimedia Commons and tagging them under the Hornet (CV-8) category here. Wikimedia Commons is starting to become a really good archive on WWII ship photos, including probably the best Internet archive of Imperial Japanese Navy ship pictures, many of which haven't been available outside Japan until recently.
