VC-19

I have been doing research into my uncle's military history. He was a TBF pilot with VC-19 in the Atlantic. I have found it interesting that so little squadron history can be found for VC-19. I know that we was one of the original members of the squadron, and flew with them from the USS Bogue and the USS Guadalcanal before he was KIA in July 1944.

I have the aircraft incident report of his final flight.

Any information or leads concerning VC-19 would be appreciated.
