    Hello everyone!
Throughout my countless years of looking up aeroplanes I have seen hundreds of records of air-to-air victories between post-1960 jet fighters. Its amazing just how many modern US, European and Russian (mostly Russian) aircraft have been shot down in the Middle East and in Africa, literally, its in the thousands...
What I have noticed is that almost every jet-fighter that is used by any country today, no matter how old, has at least one aerial victory in its pocket...
    And here is my question...
Are there any jet aircraft being used today which have yet to score their first air-to-air kill? The only aircraft which I have failed to find victories for are, as of now, the Saab Draken, Saab Viggen, and the Dassault Rafale. But i stand (and hope) to be corrected

Modern stuff: Can't think of anything that has not been mentioned...

No longer being used, but surely the EE Lightning had no kills.

Didn't one EE Lightning shoot down another lightning?
Pilot bailed out but the aircraft kept on going or something like that?!

Someone who's never done something before...
In this case, an aircraft which has never had its first air-to-air kill

I think Notmi is right, none of those planes have any air to air kills, except the Su-27 which has maybe one or two dozen kills in Ethiopia

The Saudis used it extensiviely to combat Yemeni ground troops. But the Egyptian air attacks which instigated Operation Magic Carpet stopped immediately when the first Lightnings arrived in Saudi Arabia so they never got the chance to score any air-to-air kills.

What about the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter? Wasn't it a cold-war fighter that was replaced before it ever had a chance to see combat?

The F-104 may not have scored any kills in the U.S.A.F. but it was a widely exported fighter and IIRC the first kill made by an F-104 was in 1967, in the Taiwanese Air Force against a Chinese Mig-19... Also (according to wikipedia :-? ) 2 aerial kills were made by Pakistani F-104's in the 70's against the Indian jets including one Mystere IV, but at the price of 8 starfigher losses

Hmmm. I didn't know that. How about the McDonnell F-101 Voodoo? It was tasked as an all-weather interceptor... saw service in Vietnam as a PR-bird though.
How about the F-89 Scorpeion. The one wing wing-tip pods full of unguided missles. It too was touted as an all weather interceptor. Don't think it did much but possibly hassle Soviet Bears and such.
Then there's the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger and F-106 Delta Dart. I think one or both also saw service in Vietnam. (I think I recall seeing photos of an F-106 in color camo.) Likely as fighter-bombers though. I don't think they went "Downtown" over the North, nor do I think they were exported. I could be wrong though... BIG Smile.

Air to air kills were so numerous in Vietnam that I would not be suprised if all of those fighters had one kill to their name...
The only ones I can verify are the F-102, which Turkey claims has shot down two Greek F-5's in the 1974 invasion of Cyprus. And the F-106 which allegedly has never seen combat
