I've read in several books it was and some it was not. I read it was going to but got the battle to late and went south to aachen.
10th SS 'Frundsberg' did not take part in the Ardennes Offensive as a complete formation. It was basically in the process of re-forming and re-training after earlier battles and was held in reserve as part of Heeresgruppe B. It was certainly intended to take part following a successful breakthrough by 6. SS-Panzerarmee which of course never happened. However, it's important to note that the artillery and Flak regiments from 'Frundsberg' did take an active role ; they were subordinated to 6. SS-Panzerarmee for the initial artillery preparation for the offensive and remained attached throughout the battle. So it is correct to say that some elements of 10th SS Panzer were involved in the 'Bulge'. The commander of 10th SS Panzer was briefed on a daily basis throughout the battle by the command of Heeresgruppe B. At the beginning of January, the Division entrained from the general area of Bonn to Northern Alsace where it took a very active role in the subsidiary offensive there from January 15th onwards. I have taken this information from the book 'In The Firestorm Of The Last Years Of The War' by Wilhelm Tieke.
