 Einsatzgruppen  This is an Army Long Service Medal, I think for 4 years service. That pin on the ribbon is fantasy garbage. On the next level for Long Service, there would be an Adler on the blue ribbon-nothing else. I wonder who is trying to pawn this off?

Quite welcome Kai. If interested, you should see if the guy would sell it to you for about $25.00-$30.00. That's what i'd buy one for if offered to me.

I suppose the person bought it for a little bit higher price in the first place than the 30$ or so and wanted to make a big profit as the previous owner probably lied "quite alot" about the medal. Everyday lots of fakes being sold and most of them are like Hitler´s pipe and original waffen-SS KC´s etc. Quite laughable attemtps really.

I think that pin was a sad attempt at making a Walther P-38?

Kai, looks like the Finnish ebay has joined with the rest of the world - with crappy dealers and their garbage. I quit ebaying about 5 years ago. The last time I had anything to do with bidding-was when I won two bids from the same seller. I sent my payments for the two multi-place ribbonbars; that I had won. This crumb of a dealer-took my money never sending my items and then made a false accusation to ebay saying I never sent payment. Thankfully, I was not out more than about $30.00. However, I made up my mind to quit buying on ebay after I found out that they only seemed to take the sellers word over a buyers word.

I agree. The grip and hammer look like a P-38 but the barrel does not.

On longer inspection, yep, I agree with you and it looks like a mixture of both weapons.
