Grossdeutschland and the 78th are a given. I did a search and it was very broad. I would appreciate any opinions.

Any parachute troops...Fallsjaeger or whatever the German term is. There personal stories on Sicily, the Cherbourg peninsular and homeland defence in the west are astounding in their explanations of defensive fighting never mind attack. For me they were the real elite to be feared and admired rather than the others who have fan clubs that amaze me in their thinking.
