Set-Up Phase

Unit placement, we both have 1,500 points spend for this meeting engagement. I have taken a gamble and invested heavily in armor, I have three platoons of three T-34/85s, with one platoon purchased as 'elite'. To my good fortune, two of the tanks in that platoon end up being 'crack' units! I am planning to use my tanks as mobile artillery. My infantry component is meager, with only three platoons of eight men each attached to a four-man HQ unit, supported by a two-man anti-tank rifle team and a lone sniper. Fortunately the map seems very open and tank friendly, I will be focusing on capturing and holding the large flag on the far left flank of my line.
