Having searched the web and this forum for this book without success, I thought I would drop in and take a moment of your time by asking if anyone knows where I can get a copy of this book

I've got some reasonably extensive notes on memoirs but nothing about this one. What's the reference that put you onto it? What's the authors nationality? It may be a privately published book with a very limited run.

 

Firstly I would like thank you for taking an interest and am happy to report that while searching for the answer to your question about the reference the mystery has been solved.

I couldn't find the book because it isn't a book, but in fact part of the 28th Divisions combat interview file Capt Howes narrative is contained within and entitled Into Germany.

Now I will have to see if I can find the interview file since i still want to read what Capt Howe had to say
