It's nice to get a bargain and I did just that this week - I called at the only remaindered bookshop in London's Charing X Rd and they had a couple of brand-new copies of David Schrank's 'Thunder At Prokhorovka' for only £15. I grabbed one fast - published by Helion, this is usually a book in the £45 range.

An amazingly comprehensive day-by-day operational account of the battle, complete with pull-out maps, it will form a good addition to Healy and Glantz on my bookshelf.....

Loads of interesting "new" books on Prokhorovka. But like said the Soviet reply was so massive the Germans were never going to have a success anyway. Hitler believed he could buy time until 1944 if the operation failed but he sure was wrong.
