Just to say that the reprint has occurred and when I get the ISBN I'll post it up.....for info 400 copies printed and will be avaialble from the usual outlets......

Regret it is in paperback but the costs for a small number in hardback were prohibitive.....

Hi there! I'm interested in purchasing a copy, but have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Who wrote the book, and does it give the entire history of the unit? How much is it? And finally, is it self-published (more a query than a question really).

Hi Skinny, Airborne Medic is more qualified to answer, but I got my copy in today and I am very impressed.

I collect Self-published books (veteran's memoirs or unit history), and although this one is self-published it is done to a very high professional standard.

It is 219 pages, over 150 photographs (I think) and covers the history of the 7th (Galloway) Bn KOSB from 1939 till Norway in 1945 and even beyond (veteran meetings). I haven't read it yet but it is a thoroughly researched book with many veteran accounts.

It also come highly recommended from many Arnhem researchers, so I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed. PM Airborne Medic for prices. I think it is GBP 23 + 3 (P&P) for shipment within UK. Also, when you PM him, ask him for the other titles he has available. I had my shipment in today (total 6 books) and I am just
