and illustrated newspapers from several known cities, all war-time peridocals WartimePress.com very interesting formats E ~
I have firefox and NO probs on the site............. strange, remember to click the links on the left and go through slowly
Erich, great site. The US unit history section is pretty good. It seems that some of the sections (newspapers, for example) are still empty, at least for the US. What's there is great. It seems as though they are in the process of adding material from an older site? In any case, Firefox opened what was there with no problem.
yes a great range of news information(s) from different countries. run by two guys and some wonderful items here for sale. as it says on several links and mags, details to follow so it appears as you say Lou the guys are trying to get the background coverage all done up which is going to be a large project. For Germany they have some sort of special access to the large issued magazines like Die Wehrmacht and Die Kriegsmarine plus Adler direct from Deutschland in places unknown all I can say is good for them E ~ checked again and Firefox is just fine
It would be bloody nice if they'd indicate what is there and what is going to be there, so you don't have to chase a bunch of dead ends.
might be good to send them an email. again I am not positive on when they brought the site up but it appears it will continue to grow and offer select mags/news info for sale. as to time when available is anyone's pure guess, just thought this could be of general interest for those desiring some WW2 official type booklets/mags, etc.
sure Suzie I just say give the two guys a bit of time to get the site whipped into shape. much potential E ~
