    Indeed, cold and wet!!!
Everything was wet and frozen, except for the sleepingbag. Its a very good one, our Dutch army use it as well. I got it for my birthday from my parents, just in time...

Last saturday back to the Hürtgenwald again, together with Aru-Ed and two other friends.
I did some small findings, remains of a German K98 ammunition pouch, lid of an US soap box. (plastic), some small buttons and other small stuff.
And also this pretty nice find, a German K98 grenadelauncher, in pretty good shape.
This is the first one to find in the five years I'm metaldetecting right know. So they are pretty rare to find.

    Regards,
    Nick

Nice Schiessbecher! You are lucky to find one in such nice condition after all those years.

An empty/exploded Panzerfaust 30 (klein) projectile found near Aachen last week.
It still has some nice markings after all those years.

Very cool! Exploded, and left out in the weather for 60 plus year, yet writing is still visible! Very cool!

There's something very special about this thread, but it's hard to put a finger on it.

    Good stuff, VGD.

I guess you looked up that Mercury dime? Worth a few dollars, maybe. But certainly nice to have, considering where it was.

    Haha, thank you guys.
In total I've found 2 silver dime's, one from 1939 and one from 1943 both in exellent condition. Do you guys have any idea how much they are worth?
I wouln't sell them but I'm just curious.

    Regards,
    Nick
