    the coin is a bit battered though, but still a nice witness of the battle.

    Well guys, I'm back from the weekend.
    Didn't found something special.... but my friends digged up some nice items.... US messting with name and number, medical bottles, US officer belt, italian medal, necklace with a christian cross on it, 3 US army toothbrushes... and other stuff.
    It was my "location"... so I had done good research.... at least that is something. And I had a nice time.

    Thats closed this time of the year... :confused:



    I also went to the Eifel area, not the Hürtgenwald region.
    Thats 50 km's away.

    Indeed, but my Belgian friend who found the messtin with name has come in contact with the familys owner!!!!!!!! The orginal owner was killed in the region on 1st of March.

    Found by a friend of my a while ago when we where searching in the woods north of the Hürtgenforest.

    2 full M1 carbine magazine's with remains of the bandolier, found on the same location of the .30 cartridge belt.
    Poor condition.

    great again friend, when will you go back to mysterious and dark Eifel again ? there is so much there in those woods
