HMS Cumberland was Kent-class (first County-class) heavy cruiser, armed with 8x8" guns. Exeter was York-class heavy cruiser, armed with 6x8" guns. Exeter was few years newer and somewhat smaller than Cumberland.
Some news (from the Axis history forum): http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4702832.stm http://www.clarin.com/diario/2006/02/11 ... -04701.htm
but what museum will host it? then as soon is in expostion it will be workshiped by the neonazis and then the jew community will cry wolf , and complaint
Is that also the problem with all aircraft on display in museums and what about those medals? (I've never noticed Nazi's by those...) Make it part of an exebition as part of not as the last Nazi Eagle like Ricky suggested!
how the exibition has to be called is not my job, that's for somebody else anyway, the announcer in the news said it was the only eagle of the nazi's to be left, since all the others were blowen up by the allies
Which was one of the Allies's better moves. But the eagle from ADMIRAL GRAFF SPEE should be in a museum, not sitting in some millionaire's mansion.
So we all agree that it should go the Atlantik Wall Museum near my place  http://www.atlantikwall.nl/
hey, those bunkers still have a use these days wel, we could all put some money together and do a bet
