So I'm full of questions tonight so I hope I'm posting them in the right spots! Please inform me if these are pesty "recruit" questions...

Is it true that Stephen Ambrose was writing a book on the Pacific war and if so ... do you know if he finished it before he passed away?

Grampas girl-no better place to post such a question than here!
I can't answer your question but I believe I did hear something about that, so my guess would be yes...

Yes, it is true that Ambrose was working on a Pacific theater book. It is not complete, but I have learned that his son will finish the book.

Ambrose's most recent book is out now, "To America: Personal Reflections of an Historian." I haven't read it yet, but it is on my Christmas wish list.
