    Great pictures!
I always forget just how big the Panther was...

The middle picture of the first set would make a great diorama!

Don't be afraid Roel; he is not after you .....YET!! he will be in Paris next week though, so...give him time! give him time!....:)P :p :p :p :p 8) :) :D , All joking aside; actually the other members of the club and friends agreed not to bother him (as we do, normally) while he is on vacation. So, we assured him there would be no faxes, no e-mails or telephone calls..etc.etc. Judging from the quality y of the photo, and the fact that it is black and white, l woud say it came from Rolf W, a mutual friend who divested himself of all his collections when he retired and returned to Switzerland...where he passed away last year....

Now, aside from all this , you said something that intrigues me:

" The possibility of this picture having been taken in Belgium is probably what made PanzerProfile ask. You see, we've seen just about every tank that can be seen in the Ardennes area, and we'd probably have some more reference about it if you could tell us where it was taken..."

Have you fellows taken any photographs and/or made a list? if so, would you share it with us?..Here's another photo from that same batch (and judging from the quality, l would say that it came from Rolf.. Are these vehicles preserved somewhere in the Ardennes area?...

The Hetzer could be the one preserved at Diekirch or at Bastogne, though I haven't seen this particular camo pattern. It's more likely to be the Diekirch one since it seems to be more intact (and not a mock-up Swiss vehicle! ;) ). I've never seen a Jagdpanther anywhere in the Ardennes as far as I can remember. By the way, the best list of all tanks there is provided by this website:

    http://www.jagdtiger.de/Various/ArdennesofBelgium.html

Note that it doesn't list the tanks on display at Diekirch since that town is in Luxembourg. See the menu on the left.

Photos will be shown by Panzerprofile soon, we have some nice ones of the King Tiger at La Gleize. :D

Wonderful pictures of Panthers here, thanks a lot to you all! Those will be wonderful in my collection.
Sorry I replied so late, but I didn't know up until today that an absence of two days would cause a gap of 20 replies...

OK that Jagdpanther defidently suffered a side-hit, wich ruined the recoil springs on the gun !! The gun is way to far back !

    Good picture though ! :D

    Best regards, KBO.

The pictures may be sad, but at least the good guys won! :D

I think Scaramouche's picture of the destroyed Jagdpanther was taken in the Market Garden area. There was one unit there, the 519th Panzerjäger IIRC, that was equipped with Jagdpanthers.
