Hlo, one thing that i am also interested to know is does anyone know about HF radio communications equipment in use during the bataan and corregidor campaign. Besides being a dedicated history buff, I am also a licensed radio amateur, my license class is General Class, my call sign is n6mmq. Being a Ham, i am very curious of the types of radio comm gear in use before Dec 08 and up to the fall of Corregidor. I am sure someone out there knows about the HF radio comm gear in use which are pre 1943. Of course as the war progressed , technology development in HF radio gear rapidly advanced as the US went into high gear in it's war effort. Sam
