Received an advertising leaflet from Helion and Co and they have a special book advertised called 'To war with the Yoxford Boys'. It is the story of the 357th Fighter Group...they have 357 special deluxe leather bound copies signed by the 13 surviving aces of the 357th Group...not my interest but if you are a collector of the 8th USAAF I'd suggest a copy of this book would be a real bargain at £150.00 and certainly worth more than this in a few years on the collectors market....

Friend originally this signed book is being sold through:

    www.eagle-editions.com

enter the site and go to what's new (new releases) and you will find the book plus a copy/scan of the book-plate. Seems a bit spendy no matter from what country you may come from, and besides I have the addys of a couple of these aces so give me a buzz if you are interested in buying the standard copy and would like to write two of the aces.........

the book now is in it's 4th or 5th printing and this will probably be the last one done of this magnitude. One of the aces flying Old Crow was present at the eagle-editions table at the IPMS booth at the Phoenix, Arizona nats this last week.

    enjoy

    A bargain at £150.00 ??

Another example of the North/South divide - down here in impoverished Queen's Park, you can buy a lot of chip butties with that sort of money..... [IMG]
