    Hey everybody,

I'm just curious if any of you have suggestions on books of WWII maps... for both or either fronts. Some of the books I'm starting to delve into have the occasional map, but I love to be able to actually see and visualize what is being described so I think I'm going to pick up a book with maps of operations and what not. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks,
    -Dave

    How is your pocketbook ?

One of the best sources I have found over the years is www.ebay.de

have picked up a wonderful 1941 Berlin and area map from them. sure you have to bid against others but that is part of the fun. Other than that you maybe able to punch up something via your internet search engine(s)as to WW 2 related items.......

    good luck !

Try John McDonald's "Great Battles of WWII". It is full with maps, paintings, 3D diagrams, biographies, tactical and strategical inputs, etc.

    Great book! ;)

An excellent compilation is the West Point Military Atlas. There are two of these; one for Europe and the other for the Pacific. Both are very good and cover the entire war from start to finish. From Poland to Finland, Norway, France, Russia, Mediteranean and all the Pacific campaigns. A great buy and not very expensive at all.

    Cheers,
