I always wanted to be The Pope. Going to buy the robes/hat, so that would definately make me Pope...Now, just need everyone to call me Pope. ..If y'all don't call me Pope, then y'all have a problem. Some of youse may anger me (The Pope), and then you may go home in an ambulance...But guess what, you won't be buried on sacred ground. Nope. Cause I'm the Pope. Anyone has a problem with that, will meet in parking lot, where Pope will dish out some old school religion.
You may want to read the full story. ..Tur said he was going to wait for Ben in the parking lot. ..which gave even more weight to the battery charge. Tried to find Bens complaint, but you know...wine. edit: also Tur agreed with a later tweet that advocated an old fashioned curb stomp on Ben...Tur is no longer employed with TMZ because of his words and actions...Am waiting to see how lady justice spoons this out.
Not even slightly, and neither had most of the people I know, other than, apparently, some retarded readers of Heat magazine. Herm popped up on my radar a few months back. One of the less pleasing things about the internet being the shotgunning of such nonentities onto one's screen's corners. I was five in 1976 (apparently the sole legitimate claim to fame). I'm not an American. Few things are more likely to make me turn a page than the words 'Kardashian', 'Hilton', etc. No, I hadn't heard of the man.
I believe I take it the same way Smiley. Had the same argument with others. To each his/her own. But when it comes to struggling for your life such as Hill, it's hard to argue who should be the real recipient of such an award.

We're heading toward Hell in a hand-basket at warp speed. At Von Poop ::: really? 5 years old in 1976? Gee's thanks for making me remember (try anyway) of what I was doing in1976. I will say I had a lot of fun in 71' !
Another '71 baby here. Can't say I remember any of it...Ahhh, the good old days...Eat, poop, sleep, eat, poop, sleep.
Ima Canadian. Recall the 76 Olympics very well. Because we only had like 3-4 channels, and it was in Canada. Seem to remember Jenner and Daley Thompson always giving a good effort. Regarding Zoey Tur, read a bit a few days ago where Tur was sentenced to home detention for collecting disability(?) under his male and (fe)male alter ego. ...Went to find the article and now looks like it has been scrubbed clean. Can not find anything about it. Tur was an interesting guy...He performed an emergency tracheotomy, saving a life. He followed the OJ chase as a reporter in a news helicopter. Edit- clarity, words, a story. Thinking about why i (at 10 yrs) remember '76 Oly's so well. Then-boom- was at my grandfathers who had just bought a new top of the line tv. It came with magic in a small black box, now known as a remote control. It had 2 very loud clicky buttons. Power + channel up. There was no channel down. And the actual channel dial, would rotate (chunck, chunk, chunk) clockwise from 2 to 13! HA. I was fascinated. Thanks for the memories. I'll tell the first time encountering powered car windows (squee), cassettes (not 8 track), and FM radio at a later date.
Amazing the 2 different takes on what happened regarding the Tur/Shapiro battery. On the Drew / Corrola podcast after the sensational Tur/ Shapiro bit: Go to 38:31 for start http://cdn46.castfire.com/audio/522/3458/25346/2523317/ads258_2015-07-25-155317-7770-0-221-0.64k.mp3?cdn_id=46&uuid=255b4d62ffaeb5810877781e471dc30f&referer=http%3A%2F%2Fadamanddrdrewshow.com%2F258%2F
yes Poppy, I remember our first color TV, must have been a 12inch..I watched Battlestar Galactica..had to get up to change channels....also the I loved the gymnasts in the 76 Olympics
I forgot, but I'm watching the old Bruce on the TV show ''Chips''...I think the show was pretty good and he wasn't a bad actor....
Just checked in wondering what there was about he/she/it people still found worth commenting on. Encouraging to see that the conversation appears to have wandered pretty much completely off topic.
