    Gents,

For those with an interest in the Canadian effort in Europe, I suggest this link:

    http://www.dnd.ca/hr/dhh/history_archives/engraph/cmhq_e.asp?cat=1

Quite a few PDF files with reports made up by the Canadian Army History section (just) after the war. Many reports on Dunkirk, Italy and NW Europe.

Especially for Red Baron; two reports on the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion in Normandy (training and operational) and Holland/Germany later in the war.

Very interesting and worth a browse, gentlemen!!!

Stevin - found them a while ago when researching dieppe. A lot of them were written by C.P. Stacy who eventually wrote the canadians official history. A great resource on the web.

All right! Great stuff. I wish the US and the British had this stuff on-line. The US does have some great stuff, like Cole's "Battle of the Bulge" and some other campaign histories.

Many thanks for posting this, Stevin - it's new to me. A most valuable resource.
