Believe it or not, Mussolini and I just started playing the final round. The map is extremely tough, we again have a central river like the first map but we've got troops on both sides of it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the map plays out. I've got my AAR for my first round done, but I cannot edit the old posts an more. Sent an email to Otto for help on that.

Still very early in the game Herr Grofaz, but it's been a few days since I've last heard from my opponent.

Any updates? I'd love to see screencaps, but I know they may give away battlefield intel, so no problems if it's text only.

Would reveal too much, though my predication is that i royally screwed up deploying my forces and will now get rolled by OMA.

Only 3 turns in or so. The initial setup lines were very close, so in the areas where troops were set up at the very limit of the setup zones guns started blazing on turn 1. This is another tank heavy map, but with much more area to fight over compared to Trollville. While there is a river bisecting the map as in Trollville, setup zones are spread across both sides of the map, unlike Trollville. Musso is down three T-34/76s (one full tank platoon), for the loss of a single Pz 38(t) on my side. There is still much fighting to go, but a decent start for so far.

Terrible start for me. I spread my forces far too thin, trying to cover more area then I should have. OMA concentrated his forces so its more of a mop-up operation for him now.

The setup zones were very strange in my opinion. Two L-shaped zones, the other flipped upside down, to form a box around the edge of the map, which puts you in contact with the opponent in two places.

It appears it going to be a long while before we have a result in this scenario. Will post updates when/if I have them.

I understand it's going slowly, hopefully we can keep this on track. Any updates?

Been weeks since I've heard from my opponent. Looks like we are dead in the water with this.

Well, it looks like I won by abandonment. Though I started very strong, not enough of the match had been resolved to clearly give an advantage. Thanks to Otto for seeing this through, even though it was delayed.

Congrats OMA, I saw some of your gamplay and even without the forfeit you were in great shape. Killing that whole T-34/76 platoon early was helpful.

AAR is on the way for the most recent match. Otto can you unlock the older AAR threads so I can add my posts to them?
