Could the Western Allies Win Without the USSR?

Why would it suddenly not be Hitler's agenda in fall/winter 1940 and spring 1941, when it had been his agenda since around 1921-1922? Why would a 21-month-long holiday from Nazis hating Communists and vice versa continue, when one side, the Nazis, were so blatantly not following the agreement.

Fundamentally, the problem with fixating on a POD in a what if without fleshing out the "why" is that you have not created an actual counterfactual, but rather a fantasy. It says quite a bit about such a POD that it is so difficult to create a viable reason behind it. Hitler suddenly just isn't Hitler, Stalin isn't Stalin, the Nazis are not Nazis, and the Soviets aren't Soviets.
