I can't remember who asked sometime ago about good Air War titles for WW1 but, here is a good suggestion:

Fokker Dr 1 Aces of WW1 by: Norman Franks and Greg Van Wyngarden. Published by Osprey.

    Hi,
This doesn't mention aces, but it's bound to interest someone:
    R. Sturtivant & G. Page. Royal Navy Aircraft Serials and Units 1911-19.
    (Tonbridge. Air-Britain Publications.1992)ISBN 0851301916.
As the title says, this is a veritable bible for aviation enthusiasts. Not only does it list every RNAS, RFC & RAF a/c of WW1 by serial, but it gives details of when they came into service, where, with what unit, and the aircraft's eventual fate. In a lot of cases, it even lists the fate of the crews.
Not only that, but it lists RNAS stations, units, aerodromes & seaplane bases at home AND abroad, and a lot more.
    Another good 'un is:
CES Mowthorpe. Battlebags: British Airships of the First World War.
    (Stroud.Sutton Publishing Ltd.1998)ISBN 0905778138
Not only does it list EVERY type of airship used in WW1 by serial, it gives details of both service and fate of each, construction details, and a list of airship bases. Thoroughly recommended.

    Regards,
    Gordon
