Loopholes FTW! I can technically be selling Wehrmacht marching music and books by Adolf Hitler as those two aren't on the list for the appropriate sections! :D

No point in get such "specialized" stuff from eBay as most likely the people selling it aren't very into the collecting/World War 2 scene. Most of the listings I've seen are people simply selling a helmet, tunic, etc they found in an attic, garage sale, etc.

Sellers can send items to countries with so called "restricted" access, how do you think I get my packages from the entire world? It's perfectly legal to send militaria to European countires with the exception of Nazi items and weapons. The customs label says "WW2 Uniform" and everything is declared and I never had any trouble. This being siad I mainly order UK and US material.

And don't think I can't access militaria sections abroad. It helps to know how to configurate a computer.

These rules are a joke btw , I'm tired of Ebay's interpretation of national laws. If my customs officers say it's okay than it's okay.
Ebay will put a few war criminal names on a list and due to their ignorance will accept some who were far worse. They will persecute sellers who sell a Bohmen and Mähren stamp collection and allow a whole NSB uniform for instance...... they will ban Nazi items but let the Vichy ones online..... I'd rather be breaking an Ebay rule by buying an RAF uniform than breaking a national rule and buy something that was yet allowed on Ebay. Those guys really think they are God.

I think this will be one of many things that could lead to the eventual downfall of ebay. Im only there so i can bid on Ricks pics, as well as Janets stuff.

There are also (legal) ways around customs too. I found out something interesting from a dealer in England as well as a US postal Clerk. this is aklin to calling a spike bayonet-a tent stake ;-)) - which i have seen them listed as so they could be sold at Gunshows-back when clintons stupid restriction law was in place. I bought three of them at that time and still have one ;-))
