Oh I dunno - I got a helicopter once and impaled my hand on the rotors trying to get it out of the packet (mind you, I was 7 at the time :D )

wow, you got your own helicopter :D . no more traffic problems for you anymore :D

to come back on the chinese Hind. i have a book by Micheal Dimercurio called "attack of the Seawolf". in the story the nuclear sub USS Tampa is taken hostage by the Chinese who discovered her spying in chinese waters. during the rescue mission there are waves off Hinds trying to attack the USS Seawolf (and the liberated Tampa, commanded by the XO and a couple of SEALs). since Dimercurio know of what he's writing (he's a naval officer) i thought that the Hind was a Chinese helicopter. seems they have bought some things from the Russians

I understand that Hind is a Hungarian aircraft and is operated out of a base near Budapest. It's not in Afghanistan and certainly not American.
The story circulated around the web but was based on incorrect information.

It must be because everyone associates eagles with the United States.

Ricky, we're still waiting for your model of this aircraft... :D

lol - like I said, it is on hold until I can find a way of accurately doing those feathers at 1/72.

The best method so far is drawing them on with a coloured pencil...
