    There is much rubbish about Mystic & occult Nazi stuff but still one should not mix up everything since Germans did really achieve very strange advanced technological devices. I found a new aspect of this on Nazi Secret

    Oh Great! My dad's nick-name when he was growing up was "Foo". I never heard the how's or why's of the moniker and wonder if it was due to:
    " A "Foo" was a false fighter, a distracting ball of light which could be seen but not attacked. " Or "Where there's foo, there's fire."
    Born in 1929, I doubt it had anything to do with UFO's but then again? :confused:

    I tried to google for the origin of the term, but landed on the wiki page of the band Foo Fighters. Haha!

    There are a lot of theories, but I think the one from the cartoon is the most realistic. A radar operator probably said it once and it caught on.
