    I used to have a non operating replica of the MP40, but alas, I sold it off years ago, what with its not being of original manufacture!

    Bill--if you don't mind me asking but--appx how much did you sell the replica for?

    I found a place in California that is selling MG 34's for about $650.00 and the MP-38/40 for about $400.00.

    It was "back in the day", about five or six years ago. Came with an original MP40 strap too. Price was $300.

    To think that's nearly what I paid for my real MP40, years ago. Yet again, they're now rare as hen's teeth.... :(

    Thanks Bill--thats not bad at all.

    There was a dealer who used to sell blank-firing MP-40s for $400.00. I tried to get one but he sold out by the time I got there----so---I was ably to buy the 1942 AC coded P-38 I have.
