    Syria had a number of Pz.Kpfw.IVs and Sturmgeschütze. In addition, France operated a large number of Panthers, Switzerland used a slightly altered le.Pz.Jäg.38t and the Checz republic used an altered Sd.Kfz.251...

    Not to be picky but we all know how long yours is (just kidding ;) ) but all I wanted was the Syrian numbers.

    The tanks were used as "Pill - Boxes" because he Syrians did not have any spare parts to maintain the drive train, etc. But the high velocity 75mm main gun worked just fine against all those Shermans the Isrealies used in their fledgling army.

    Just an interesting piee of trivia, nothing to puff out one's chest. Ok, is it ok if I breath now? :lol:

    The Israeli Shermans were exellent against the Pz.Kpfw.IVs, with their 105 mm. gun.
