This will be a perfect opportunity to build something Allied then. I usually feel that Allied AFVs are a little bit easier to do.

    LOL

    Well well..here you go...
I must admit though, I have used two Shermans from Roel's Built-tanks stock for my " destroyed tanks" scenarios. That meant though, that I painted them in roughly the right colour scheme (roel didn't paint his tanks back then) and cut some parts off of them to make them look hit. If you want to see pictures, please let me know and I'll upload some.
But I think I cannot avoid accepting your dare... I'll be scouting for an allied TD then.
    I guess.
    *gulps*
    :-?

That's the only thing my modellingwork is good for...

I will officially be helping PP find a model of an Allied TD, whether he takes part in the competition or not. That means, effectively, that he will. ;)

    My kit arrived yesterday! :D

It is a Russian company, and it has some etched brass parts and actual rubber for the rims of the bogies!

Why is that cheating? The kit comes with lots of bits that you should not use, as it contains parts for a regular T-34. So I will get lots of spares.

    I'm confused here guys... :-?

I'm looking forward to Thursday now...

by the way, what colour were Su-85's painted? The instructions say Humbrol 86, but all the Soviet tanks I have seen in museums etc are a very different shade of green to that.
