We're having the same problems over here.I believe it's because of the scale.I think you need a better camera than what we are working with for this kind of project.Small objects don't photograph easily.
I´m beginning to suspect that my collection of pictures of 1/72 models is actually something worth being proud of How come you guys have such difficulty?
Well after trying several different methods with this camera i have come to the conclusion that i am pissing up a rope. I have some family coming to visit next weekend, and one of them owns a pretty nice camera, hopefully that will do the trick, the pics i have taken thus far will be used as a last resort only. Unless anyone has some tips or tricks that i dont know about.
Ya i cant figure out how to upload the pics onto the forum. if someone could help me that would be great.
I use either photo bucket or webshots to host my pics, so the first thing you need to do is get the pictures hosted on the internet, I copied the following tutorials from Photo Bucket: To create an account (free by the way) Go to http://photobucket.com Click the "Register Now" button. Please fill out all fields and read our terms of service. If you agree with them click the "Register Now" button. How to upload pics on to photo bucket: 1. Log into your Photobucket account. 2. Click the "Browse" button to find the digital content you want to upload. 3. Find the folder that holds the digital content on your computer, click on it. 4. To personalize your digital content add an optional description. 5. Click "Submit" to begin the uploading process. 6. When the upload is complete * Images successfully uploaded will appear on the top of your account page. 7. If you would like to add multiple pictures at once click the "Submit Multiple Pictures" drop down file, select the number of digital content that you want to upload. Getting your pics into a forum post Once the image is hosted on photo bucket, right below it there will be three fields that will be listed as : Url: "picture name" help Tag: "picture name" help Img "picture name" help Simply go to the field labeled IMG and copy the text thats in the box, then return to the forum and simply paste what you just copied into your thread It will appear in your thread similar to this(minus the quotation marks and a different filename of course) " After you have added that line to yout post be sure to click the preview button under where your are typing to make sure everything is working properly before you actually post
thanks alot willys ... i hope this works. this is my jagdpanther before i painted it the overcoat of panzer gray.
You aint kidding, the individual links that go around the drive sprocket dont match up to the sprocket at all.. the Hetzer went so well, hard to believe that the StuG would be this argumentative LOL
Absolutely no progress as yet. We've been having people round for dinner, so my stuff has been banished from the table.
Ricky, I think you need to select a mode that ables you to make "portait" pictures (usually with an icon like the head of a person) so that you can zoom in better than with other settings. You may also try not to stand too close to the model. Good luck! I hope you can find some time to start on it. You have two weeks remaining!
Alrighty people! We have still a week to go- and we've seen 3 models completed already. It's going to be a tough job judging them... but more about that will follow later on. I was wondering: who is still working on a model? I think Boba Nette is, but who else? just curious.
Boba Nette's JagdPanther should be completed tomorrow on her off day. I must admit,it's looking pretty good considering it's only her second model ever.If we do another group build,I think we'll pick a larger scale for her.1/72 can be difficult.I need to remember that just because I can build and paint these things in my sleep, not eveyone else can.Sooner or later I'll have to get a life.
