    Well, if it makes you feel better, Veteran's Day (November 11th) is a holiday, but not observed like it used to be. Schools are not out, and it is up to most businesses to remain opened or closed. Veteran's Day was de-signified to make room for Martin Luther King Day in January.

    I know it's silly... not enough credit is given to the people who died in some foreign land or sea fighting to save our country so that we may not be ruled under some crazed Nazi dictator.

    yep, All those hundreds of thousands of soldiers who died in sea, land and air in europe and in the pacific ( In 2 world wars) .. Let's remember them while we go shopping at walmart and macy's, right after we drop the kids off at school...


    good way to remember...



    By the way, A new thread should be started... people are thinking that it's thanksgiving in Canada.... it was almost a week ago... We are waaaaay off topic!! hehe
