Rich TO90, you persist in putting your version and therefore your ignorance as being said by me! That kind of thing proves that you have no comprehension or basic understanding and therefore a great in ability in determining the truth. I pity you. You must have led a very difficult life.

According to you...That is the practice.
According to Severloh, he had two.

According to Severloh...It was an MG-42.

Severloh was an...Say it with me class..An orderly, if you are British - A Batman to an officer.

You really do know nothing about Severloh...And all your talk is just BS you have created to fight your fantasy about what yiou think Severloh was.

Either you are lying or Severloh is lying...Which one is it?

ANSWER: I've been playing with real machineguns for 50 years. You, on the hand are only expert in "HOTairsoft".

Is that your version of history? Oddly enough, I recall several veterans who talked about the "Beast" in the 1950s.

Mmmm...Who is talking about a "Gew"?

Would any soldier in the Heer, refer to his MG-42 as a "Karabiner"?

    Severloh does several times.

If anyone believes this, I am looking to sell a bridge in Brooklyn. Willing to let it go for cheap!
Sorry, cash only, no checks or credit cards.

Then please show me were Severloh says he has 8 barrels...

Then please show me that when Severloh says karabiner he actually means an MG-42...

Actually, you have only expounded on your own fantasies...You have shown absolutely nothing else.

Yes, I agree...You are the liar.

Such idiocy from someone who wishes me to think of him as an adult. If you can not ascertain from my posts that I know one Hell of a lot about machineguns that anyone else that has chimed in on the pleasant little discussion, it is proof positive to anyone who does have at least some real knowledge on that subject, that you are nothing but hot air.

I would thank you very much, if you be kind enough to tell me from what source you acquired all of these supposed quotes from Severloh?

Takao-you really must start paying attention in class or you'll continue to be given goose eggs on your report cards. He specifically stated "playing with real machineguns"!
I for one believe this, because it's painfully obvious he's never done more than played with machine guns.

Dooh, I just broke my resolution and let my silly azz get dragged back into this goat rope.

That's OK, I like my eggs "sunny side up".

However, these don't qualify as "real machineguns"
Although, I guess that if you make that cool "rrrrrrrrrip, rrrrrrrrrip" sound, or else the "rat-tat-tat-tat" sound, they would qualify.
So, i will concede the point that Shooterike has played with real machineguns.

"rrrrrrrrrip, rrrrrrrrrip", your dead. "rrrrrrrrrip, rrrrrrrrrip", got another one.

Okay, it is more than apparent that the only troll here, “shooterike,” it is you. Your fanboy fantasy has totally divorced you from reality, historic record, and, indeed, what you yourself have written. You wrote this in post # 21 on April 24th, so no one is putting word in your mouth or making silly claims about what you've said:

“. . . A fair rule of thumb when dealing with the US army "facts and figures" is that the US tends to report perhaps half their actual losses . . . “

So, you say. Put up or shut up. Show us the falsified reports submitted by the various companies, battalions, and regiments which went ashore on Omaha Beach. Your claim, your responsibility to provide the evidence. This is the fourth time I have made this reasonable request. Twice you have ignored it, once you have bandied about the troll appellation. What are you going to do now, fanboy?

Let me offer you your own advice, from your post #12 on 23 April, “You obviously do not know anything Go and study a whole lot and then come back to talk with the big boys when you know a little bit,” because you don’t know squat.

My Dad was born in 1892. He was quite an interesting fellow. If you would like to see a photo of him, find a copy of "Thunder in the Mountains" by Lon Savage. There is a nice picture of him and Police Chief Sid Hatfield in that book. You may have heard of Sid Hatfield, in 1920, Sid and his posse of six men, including dear, sweet Dad, put 13 Baldwin-Felts thugs under arrest. Too bad, they resisted arrest, and so Sid and his posse were forced to polish off seven of them, including Al and Lee Felts. Four were wounded and 4 escaped, one of which was wounded. One swam a river in full flood to get away. Tom Felts, who had good fortune of being somewhere else, sent a weasel named C.E. Lively to spy. Tom then applied political presser to have 22 men (question: how many men were in the posse?) arrested and charged with "murder". At the trial, Lively lies did no harm as most proved they were somewhere else and the jury decided that it was legal for bona fide lawmen to rid the world of thugs who resist arrest. Hollywood made a movie about it called "Matewan". But as usual, there is hardly a word of truth in it.

I know you don't understand German but I hoped that even a unreconstructed rebel might be able to follow simple English. You just said two would have twice the effect of one. Why then wouldn't 37 have 37 times the effect as one? Or does that violate your Superman Severloh theory?
