Yes it was like a victory for your people. For me is the turkish history between 1299 and 1683 very interesting. Culture, Economy, Warfar a very intersting period.

You are quite welcome Turkish. The fate of the Asian volunteers is not well known. Some of them ended up in Normandy and were killed during the D-Day combats or captured and handed over to Stalin after the war.

    True.
They didnt want to capture by soviet russia and they captured by english army.
But Stalin wanted to them back to Russia and England accepted this offer.
Some of them escaped and came to Turkey, some of them commited suicide.
And some of them passed from Turkey land by trains to Russia.
They beged to Turkish officers and said that shot us, we dont want to die by russian bullets.
But Turkish officers couldnt do anything, couldnt open train's locked doors, just watched them in tears.
Coz war just ended up, stalin was hero and Turkey couldnt make angry stalin.
This is such a sad story for Turkey.

No i don´t hate hearing that. If they would have read the history correct, they had to admit that this was an sort of "High-Culture" and the former people had enough chances to learn from each other. Not the religious way, more the Social aspects, the agriculture, architecture and the tolerance especially at the conquerred part of Spain.

    Certainly true.
Your perspective is really different than any european person. By the way i can say that clearly even about religion ottomans were so tolerant. They never forced any civilization for change their own religion, all different civilizations lived in peace. Maybe you say the grooming system about the agriculture? Its a old Turkish agriculture system and it ever worked.
    About Spain?
Ottomans never have been there, coz arabs had few states there and Ottomans just sent few help ships when christians began to genocide against to muslim arabs and jews...

You´re correct about Spain, but it was a good place to show how it worked at there. Yes i´m a bit different like others in my way to see things. Every culture had it good things an of course bad things too! Their tolerance on religious things is well known and would be god for some folks today too. This would be a good topic but its not WW2 related. Maybe a PM topic.

I dont know what do german people think about Turkish people? It can be negative coz of Turkish immigrants but Turkish people everytime say that Germany is an old and single friend in Europa since 1860 :)

You'd be surprised to find out how many people here know things about the Ottomans.
They were allied to Germany during WWI and still had close ties after that. Do you know the Wehrmacht imported some of their cigarettes from Turkey and that the Turkish railroads were partly made with Krupps steel?

Turkish German relationships are so old. We usually say that since 1860.
    But its older than 1860.
First contact in 1190 between State of the Seljuks Turkish sultan second Kılıçarslan and Friedrich Barbarossa. You know The Crusaders.
Friedrich Barbarossa came to capital of State of the Seljuks. He wanted to go to south and signed a treaty with Turkish Sultan.

Yes i heard about that and i know more details about this period.
For example after versailes, some german military students had education in Turkey and prepared for ww2.
Turkey soldiers loaded wheat to german submarines in Turkish seas. Coz Turkish government wanted it
Turkey gaved chrome to Germany and took golds. These golds were jew golds.
But still we dont know where these jew golds :)
