There ya go buddy! When we have days in the ninties "in a row" we start looking up records. A couple of years ago we had three weeks when the temp. actually stayed in the upper eighties, most of the day, sprinted into the ninties a couple of times, and topped a HUNDRED once!

Now if those temps were "wet" like they are in the Gulf area, I would have run to the mountains for relief. They are only about 20 minutes away.

For how many days? Our summer lasts about 8 months. We have about 6 weeks of spring and about 6 weeks of autumn. The rest is wintertime. So, who's laughing now? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa!

I really don't care that much for the "gag a maggot" level of humidity we have either come to think of it. But that just makes the oysters, cool beer and hurricanes (the drink, not the big wind storm) go down that much easier....

Oh Yeah! Well we can walk on water here right now! And I tried again today and I'm up to smacking a golf ball over 650 yards. Tomorrow I'm going for 700 plus. Our beer stays cold year round too. Without a refrigerator I might add.

It's called an air conditioner......hellllooooo! from the middle of July to the middle of August the heat can get oppressive. Lakes, Creeks, a River and the coast 2 hours away tend to make things much more bearble. When I was a kid growing up in Redding I remember one summer we put 50 pound blocks of ice in our swimming pool.

My Mom has Cousins who lived outside Redding and I remember helping man-handle a BIG salmon from a nearby river (don't remember the name of the river), when I was about 12. My wife and I were in Chico a couple of years ago and it was so hot I could only get in 9 holes of golf at the Butte Creek GCC before heading back to her Dad's house and swimming in the neighbors pool. No blocks of ice but plenty of iced drinks.

Thought I'd bump this and see how "cold" it is around the World today. It's 73F here with 56% humidity. Light winds at 5mph. Oh and Sunny skies.

OK. Tuesday We had a high of 102F and Wednesday it was 103F. Today, it's "only" supposed to get to 93F, but the humidity is on the rise. Bright sunshine and no breeze. It's nice to have a pool.

Actually, given the choice, I'll take this weather as opposed to what we had in January and February. I hate the cold.

Right now it is about 62 with a humidity of 55%, it is forecast to hit 83 by late afternoon and get into the mid-90s by the weekend before dropping back down into the upper 80s next week. No wind of any major amount at the moment, but that can change in Montana in a heartbeat.

Our humidity is generally pretty low around Montana, and I always commiserate with those who have to suffer that stuff when it gets into the 90% range.

Supposed to be around 95 here into next week, with of course 80%+ humidity like always. Today is actually rather dry, so I didn't sweat when walking to my car. Something about the dry air from further north coming down, so little chance of rain today and tomorrow (yay).

The otter pops in my freezer are very cold.

Other than that, its in the 80s here where I live and very comfortable. Monsoon season is bringing the rain finally, and we have had a nice cool off.

But in early June, we had a few days over 100, which is early even for here in central NM. And many of us just have swamp coolers, so past 100 degrees, its still kind of uncomfortable. If it gets humid, forget it!!!
